Motorola Solutions to Showcase Advanced Solutions for Critical Industries

Motorola is demonstrating its broadband push-to-talk and command centre software solutions for government, public safety and enterprise in Singapore a flexible communication platform that extends the reach of mission-critical radio systems while providing interoperable voice, data and multimedia communication.

By combining PTT communications with Motorola Solutions’ CommandCentral software suite, government agencies and enterprises benefit from having a single, integrated platform to view, distribute and manage all of their voice communication, video and data services via their command and control centres.

Motorola Solutions’ Vice President for Asia, Seng Heng Chuah said the fully integrated solutions increase productivity, collaboration and operational safety for a variety of industries.

“For emergency services, transport organisations, mining companies and other organisations, having reliable and instant voice and multimedia communication creates a clear picture of what’s happening on the ground at all times,” Chuah said.

“These solutions also help control room workers maintain watch over colleagues in the field, keeping them safe, connected and informed as the situation unfolds. In times of emergency, this makes all the difference in ensuring the safety of workers, assets and the wider community.”

Motorola Solutions Principal Architect for Next Generation Experience, Shanthi Ravindran said the continuing evolution of PTT communications solutions is providing mission critical industries with vital data and insights to inform how they manage their daily operations.

“Advanced broadband push-to-talk solutions enable emergency services and enterprises to communicate easily and securely via the same communications system regardless of whether their workers use two-way radios, smartphones, desktop computers or other devices.

“This provides significant advantages to organisations at a time when workforce demographics continue to change and organisations require more solutions to enable wider interoperability and collaboration,” Ravindran said.
