Resident Evil 2 Trophy List Revealed

A quick glance at the Resident 2 remake’s Trophy list shows that there will be 42 in all to collect, with a majority of them involving the completion of basic gameplay elements that have been detailed in various promotional trailers prior to release. Of course, there are quite a few Hidden Trophies players can unlock, too, with some of them involving SPOILERS. Since the Trophies seen in the images above are light on plot points, it’s worth mentioning for the uninitiated that Capcom has decided that the Resident Evil 2 remake’s narrative will hew closely to the original, but there will be new elements here and there. For instance, the publisher and developer a while back that the story won’t be exactly the same in the remake. What’s more is that there’s even a new area called The Orphanage for players to encounter.

All things considered, it’s safe to say that plenty of veterans and newcomers alike are excited to discover the re-contextualized state of Resident Evil 2 for contemporary hardware, especially with its launch occurring at the end of this month. With any luck, though, Capcom will provide players on all platforms with a gameplay demo so as to give them a better idea of what kind of content they will encounter before committing to purchasing the title.

Resident Evil 2 is set to launch on January 25, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
