University students organise Tech, education and career fair
UNIVERSITI Teknologi Petronas in Seri Iskandar will hold its 19th Technology, Education and Career (TEC) fair at its Chancellor Complex next year.
The fair, themed “Traiblazing Talent”, is set to take place on Jan 29 and 30 and is open to the public.
Its aim is to connect graduates and job seekers to the working world, including local and multinational companies.
Visitors at the fair can obtain valuable insights and be exposed to the work culture of various companies.
Graduating students in courses related to engineering, geoscience, information technology (IT), business and applied sciences could
also submit their resumes and attend walk-in interviews during the fair.
Since the inaugural fair in 2001, an average of 70 major companies have participated.
About 6,000 people are expected to visit the fair this year, which was declared the “Biggest Sector Focused Career Fair (SFCF) in 2014 in Malaysia” by TalentCorp.
The fair is organised by students and will start at 9am daily.
