Google Pixel 3 Lite with Snapdragon 670 SoC, 32 GB internal storage spotted
Google launched two new Pixel phones this year — the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL This was a bit disappointing for two reasons. First, the Google Pixel 3 is ridiculously expensive, and second, rumours had hinted at a mid-range Pixel 3 device as well, and we had our hopes set on the launch of one such device.
There were some rumours that a Pixel 3 Lite was under works with the codename Sargo. Now there are photos spotted on Wylsa which show the rumoured Pixel 3 Lite along with other phones such as the Pixel, Pixel 3 XL, iPhone 5s, iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone XS and even the Nokia 3310, giving an estimate of its size and design.
When compared with these phones the Pixel 3 Lite looks quite modern. The bezels are slim and the corners of the display are rounded, but the forehead and chin are still more prominent than on phones like the iPhone X. Google also appears to have avoided that controversial notch. The size of the Pixel 3 Lite seems to match that of the iPhone XR, but it can’t match the latter’s screen size due to its bezels.
When placed next to the Nokia 3310, you can actually see the revolution that the phones have gone through. The new-age Pixel 3 Lite has lost quite some bulk and even grown taller. The feature phone has a display that can be covered by two fingers. On the Pixel 3 Lite, you might not even be able to navigate the UI using one hand.
Also, some of the expected specs of the Pixel 3 Lite have been spilt through a tweet posted by Ben Geskin where the Google Pixel 3 Lite is said to be a “simplified version of the Pixel 3”.
Google Pixel 3 Lite is a simplified version of the Pixel 3 with a plastic body and a less powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor. It has 4/32 GB of memory, no memory card slot. But camera is the same as in Pixel 3.

It is expected to be the budget-friendly smartphone with a plastic body instead and no glass back.
The phone is also expected to be powered by a less powerful, but perfectly adequate, Snapdragon 670 chipset. The 10 nm chipset features Kryo 360 cores and an Adreno 615 GPU.
The only variant mentioned so far offers 4 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. That’s really low, especially when there’s no mention of microSD support. Hopefully, other variants will be made available. We’re also not sure if the Lite Pixel will offer unlimited Google Drive storage for Photos, which the premium Pixels offer.
Even though the Pixel 3 Lite seems to have cut back on a lot of specifications, as per the tweet, the phone will sport the same camera module as the Pixel 3, i.e. a 12 MP single rear camera with LED flash and an 8 MP camera on the front.
As per previous rumours, the smartphone will apparently feature a 5.56-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2220×1080 pixels and fuelling the device will apparently be a 2,915 mAh battery. Of course, it will run the latest Android 9 Pie operating system.
References to another Pixel device codenamed Bonito have also been found in the ARCore APK, which hints at a Snapdragon 710-powered device.
