Lenovo expands premium Yoga notebook lineup | Digital Asia
LENOVO has refreshed its Yoga line of premium convertible notebooks with the introduction of three new model: Yoga S730, Yoga C930 and Yoga Book C930.
With a focus on efficiency, mobility and entertainment, the new Yoga lineup is targeted at users who are constantly on the go.
Leading the lineup is the Yoga S730 with its polished aluminium body that is only 11.9mm thick and weighs 1.2kg. Lenovo touts it as their slimmest Yoga laptop yet.
The Yoga S730 features a 13.3-inch Full HD display with slim bezels and is complemented by a Dolby Atmos speaker system.
It comes equipped up to an 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, Intel HD 620 graphics and a 1TB solid state drive (SSD).
Another highlighted feature is its 12-hour long battery life and rapid charging. Lenovo claims the Yoga S730 is able to charge up to 80% within an hour.
The second model showcased during the launch was the Yoga C930. Crafted from aluminium, this convertible laptop features a rotating sound bar that is fitted on its hinge. The speakers are powered by a Dolby Atmos speaker system for immersive sounds.
The 13.9-inch model comes in either a UHD (3,840 X 2,160 resolution) display or regular Full HD display.
It can be configured with up to an 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB, Intel HD 620 graphics and 2TB SSD.
For creative individuals, the Yoga C930 is compatible with a garaged pen that can be docked within the chassis.
Depending on the screen selected, the Full HD display lasts up to 14.5 hours while the UHD models lasts up to nine hours.
Meanwhile, the Yoga Book C930 is a true convertible for the creative professional who is always on the move.
The convertible device offers a unique dual display that pairs a 10.8-inch Quad HD (2,560 X 1,600 resolution) display on top with an equally compact 10.8-inch e-ink Full HD display on the bottom that can be used as keyboard, notepad or as a second screen.
The two displays are connected together by a 360 degree watchband hinge that gives it a distinctive look.
The entire device measures just 9.9mm thin and comes with a precision pen that features 4×096 pressure levels to capture the finest details with pinpoint accuracy.
Specs wise the device can be configured with up to an Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM, Intel HD Graphics 615 and 256GB SSD. The battery is stated to last up to eight hours.
Interestingly, the Yoga Book C930 also has a single SIM card slot that accepts a Nano SIM to help you stay connected wherever you are.
The Lenovo Yoga S730 will be available on Dec 1 online and at the Lenovo exclusive stores at a starting price of US$920 (RM3,859). The Yoga C930 is already available now online at US$1442 (RM6,044).
The Yoga Book C930 is slated to be available by the end of 2018, however, no price has been announced.
