Destiny 2 Players Clear Last Wish Raid in Under 24 Minutes | Gaming News
There’s a bit of a back-and-forth race between Slayerage and members of The Legend Himself clan and Gladd from clan Redeem (the same duo that 2-manned the Riven fight together) for the fastest speedrun of Last Wish, but as of the writing of this article, Slayerage and his clan just posted a run of the raid in 23 minutes and 42 seconds. The entire run can be seen below:
The two premier Destiny 2 clans keep besting each other’s scores, shaving off seconds a little bit at a time, so don’t be surprised if Gladd’s team soon posts an even faster run—or Slayerage’s team continues to improve their own time before or soon after that. No matter who is holding the fastest run at the moment, the feat of clearing this massive 5-boss raid in under 24 minutes is impressive.
There’s been a bit of controversy along the way with some crying foul over certain runs mainly due to the use of Titan skating on PC, which, according to the rules posted for speedrunning Last Wish on Speedrun.com, is banned because it is something that is hardware dependent.
But at the end of the day, the friendly competition between the two clans has led to some fun-to-watch runs of the raid. Both teams are top-tier raiders with members of Slayerage’s clan holding the title of World First for the Leviathan raid and Gladd’s holding the most recent World First title for Last Wish.
