Overwatch Reveals Enchanted Armor Pharah Skin for Halloween | Gaming News
For the past several days, the video game publisher and developer Blizzard Entertainment has been steadily hyping up Overwatch fans by heavily promoting the team-based shooter’s forthcoming annual seasonal event, Halloween Terror 2018. Today, the studio is continuing its promotional push for the event by officially unveiling the Legendary-tier Enchanted Armor Pharah skin that is going to be be added next week.
As seen in the tweet below, the rocket launcher-wielding Pharah basically becomes a phantom once her Legendary Enchanted Armor skin becomes equipped. At first glance, Overwatch fans will notice that the skin replaces her body with nothing more than a vaporous, ethereal spirit that controls her armor, with the overall color palette changing as well. Instead of Pharah’s standard blue and gold scheme, the Halloween-themed outfit is all aquamarines and silver.
That’s the spirit.

For those who have been out of the loop lately when it comes to what’s happening with Overwatch, Blizzard’s reveal of Pharah’s Halloween Terror 2018 outfit follows the studio’s unveiling of both Doomfist and Moira’s skins for the upcoming event several days ago. As far as the former is concerned, the cybernetically-enhanced warrior’s skin transforms him into an homage to the Universal Studios’ monster, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, while the scientifically-inclined support hero’s skin turns her into a banshee.
With longstanding Overwatch characters such as Pharah and Widowmaker, and relative newcomers like Doomfist and Moira all getting their own seasonal-appropriate skins this year, it’s a wonder as to which hero’s Halloween Terror 2018 cosmetic will be unveiled next. Considering that there are only a few days left until the officially event goes live, we hopefully won’t have to wait too much longer to find out what else Blizzard has up its sleeves for fans of the first-person shooter.
Overwatch is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
