Promogo bridges more than one million Go-Jek’s driver partners with brands and businesses, creating a balanced ecosystem while enhancing the driving experience for customers. It also will increase driver partner income up to two million rupiah (US$134) per month without adding to operational time.

Through Go-Jek’s full support for the production costs of advertising material in the vehicle, the driver partner will receive additional net income from each ad placement, without having to increase their working time or wait for orders from customers.

Go-Jek chief corporate affairs Nila Marita says, “As a technology company, we continue to strive to always improve customer satisfaction with various services. Through the acquisition of Promogo, Go-Jek can provide access to additional income for partners, and from the customer side, also get a more comfortable travel experience with a variety of entertainment and facilities presented by business players, as well as providing convenience for businesses in marketing their superior products.”

Promogo chief executive officer and founder Andrew Tanyono explained that customers can enjoy various on-the-go entertainments such as movies, music, cellphone chargers, Wi-Fi and news. In addition, businesses can also provide free samples of brands advertised on Promogo assets that users can enjoy.

“Innovation in the driving experience usually occurs at the beginning and at the end of the trip. We listen to the needs of our customers to make the driving experience more interesting. Through Promogo, we have entertainment products in our cars such as Go-Ice, an in-car-entertainment system, Go-Vend, an on-the-go retail market where customers can buy daily necessities or get free samples directly in Go-Car.”

This new feature shows Go-Jek’s growth plan in a technology-driven and increasingly competitive market.

Go-Jek head of fleet monetisation Kapil Baldev Mathrani comments, “To date, more than 50,000 driver partners in the Jabodetabek area have felt the positive impact of this collaboration. Going forward, to have an impact on more driver partners, Promogo will connect brands to more than one driver partner throughout Indonesia and build a positive brand exposure with a wider range of vehicles moving through or traditional branding.”
