Tuned, 500 PS Audi RS5 Coupe Hits Top Speed On The Autobahn | Feature
The Audi RS5 is one of the hottest cars in its segment. It’s Ingolstadt’s answer to the BMW M4 and Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe, and it’s mighty impressive on the go.
Even without any mods in the engine compartment, the Audi RS5 Coupe is a neck-snapping fast car as its twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 produces a healthy 450 PS (444 hp / 331 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque.
The 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint is covered in 3.9 seconds, and with the speed limiter removed, it maxes out at 280 km/h (174 mph). Also, despite this performance, official consumption is just 8.7 l/100 km (27 mpg US / 32 mpg UK) on average and CO2 emissions are 197 g/km.

However, the example depicted on film below isn’t stock, as it benefits from Manhart’s performance upgrades. The ECU tune and custom exhaust system have raised the total output to 500 PS (493 hp / 368 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. The aftermarket specialist doesn’t say how quick their RS5 Coupe is, but we guess it must improve on the stock model’s numbers a little bit.
In addition to the mechanical upgrades, the tuner has other parts in store, including the coilover suspension kit, gold accents for the exterior and 21-inch rims with a matte black look. But you won’t get to see its exterior, as the following video shows it accelerating like crazy on the German Autobahn and reaching a top speed of 284 km/h (176 mph), as indicated by the digital speedometer.
