Innovating Women In Construction Technology: How Pepper is Breaking New Ground | Innovation
To kick off Women In Construction Week, we’re proud to feature Jennifer Suerth, VP, Technical Services at Pepper Construction.
With dual degrees in architecture and structural engineering, Jennifer began incorporating construction technology to enhance her skills as a designer, quickly realizing the positive potential for not only Pepper Construction, but for the industry as a whole. In her role at Pepper, she acts as a key advisor to project teams – providing strategic direction around constructability and implementation throughout the early stages of project.
Here’s what she has to say about “ConTech” and how it’s helping to break new ground, changing the perception of the industry from low tech to high tech.
Innovating Women in Construction: Pepper Construction
Jennifer is not alone in her drive to create innovative solutions enabled by construction technology. Every year, more women are joining the construction industry. However, we still have a long way to go…
Thanks to women like Jennifer, women are seeing other women in leadership roles at construction companies. In fact, studies show that companies with females in the executive level have a 15% increase in profitability.
With more women than ever journeying into this field, exciting things are in store.
