Diablo 3 headed for the Switch This Year, Includes all DLC and Extras – Tech| Gaming
Blizzard’s popular dungeon-crawling action-RPG Diablo 3 is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Diablo 3 – The Eternal Collection for the Switch will offer all previously released DLC, offline-play, couch and online Co-Op. Blizzard officially announced the port shortly after a leak appeared a day before.
Just yesterday, leaks of a Diablo 3 port for the Nintendo Switch were swirling across the internet, when Blizzard hit the button and put an official word out. The leak is indeed true and Nintendo’s newest handheld/home console hybrid is getting in on some oldschool dungeon crawling.
Diablo 3 – The Eternal Collection will be a feature-packed version of 2012’s original action-RPG. The loot-based action game already appeared on almost every console, even last-gen systems like the PS3 and Xbox 360, and now it’s time for the first portable version.
As part of the Eternal Collection, the Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer expansions will be included, together with some unique Legend of Zelda cosmetic items. Players on the Switch will get exclusive access to a Ganondorf Armor Set, a Cucco companion pet and a Triforce portrait frame.
Furthermore, Diablo 3 on Switch will offer multiplayer for up to 4 players. You can either play locally in split-screen on a single console or connect up to four Switch handhelds via Nintendo’s upcoming online service for the Switch. Just keep in mind, that just as Xbox Gold and PS Plus, Nintendo Switch online will be a paid online subscription and will be necessary for online play and cloud saves. Nintendo’s new paid online service will launch next month.

Diablo 3 – The Eternal Collection is set to release this Fall for the Nintendo Switch. You can already pre-purchase the game physically via the Nintendo website for $59.99.
