Macbook 2014 retina on sierra [NOT high sierra] keeps saying looking for networks then connecting to wifi over and over again every few seconds – Info Mac

Recently got forced to a superhub 3 virgin media router and though the internet works on my macbook pro retina, i keep getting errors whenever i close and open chrome or other browsers, none of the settings being saved like gmail or lastpass signed in. and it keeps doing that WiFi: looking for networks thing every few seconds.

but moreorless no luck.

can get on net but it keeps forgetting my lastpass is logged in and gmail, is it to do with the wifi being located lost then located again every few seconds.

any ideas how i can solve this??
