I love to turn children away from the devil and into the light! – Info Linux

I started with Corel linux, and was on Solaris at work, so essentially found Debian with KDE on everything pretty comfortable, although I’ve played with various DE/DMs over the years (because if you don’t at least have a look, you can’t know that there isn’t anything better out there..). As a result, the last few months of my son being on ubuntu, and more importantly on a different desktop has been quite interesting in the context of the choices he makes.

My other kids however seem fairly wedded to KDE, I think partly because it just works and partially because they are just less interested in the DE/OS compared to what they use their machines for (which is what it is all about I suppose..).
