ASUS ZenBook 13 UX331UA ultrabook for travelers now available | Computing

ASUS has announced the availability of its new ZenBook 13 model UX331UA. This ultrabook is the latest addition to the ZenBook 13 Series, one targeting and others who need a very light, thin laptop. Despite the slim size, ASUS says this ZenBook 13 model has all-day battery life coupled with fast charging technology; with it, the battery can increase from 0% to 60% charge in 49 minutes.

The ASUS ZenBook 13 UX331UA model replaces the existing UX330UA model, offering upgraded looks with an ultraportable form factor and slimmer bezels. According to ASUS, this ZenBook model is designed for anyone who travels frequently or otherwise needs a slim, light laptop that is relatively inexpensive and can hold a charge through the workday.

The UX331UA features an 8th-generation Intel Core i7 processor alongside 8GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD, and a 50Wh li-polymer battery offering up to 14 hours per charge. This is joined by a 13.3-inch NanoEdge Full HD display; the ultra-slim bezels result in an 80-percent screen-to-body ratio. The display offers 100-percent sRBG and ultra-wide viewing angles at up to 178-degrees.

Audio is similarly impressive with the maker’s SonicMaster technology and Harman Kardon-certified audio. The laptop features low-distortion and smart-amplifier tech capable of increasing the volume by up to 3.5x. All of this is joined by a variety of connectivity options, including USB-C, USB-A, HDMI, and a microSD card reader.

The “AS51” version of the new ZenBook 13 is available from Amazon in Gold and Grey colors for $799 USD and $749 USD, respectively. There’s also a “DS71” model available from various online retailers, including Amazon and Newegg, for $899 USD. Both are available to purchase starting today.
