Popular 2d/3d Linux CAD software, SolveSpace, added HiDPI support! – Info Linux

This is really cool to see because I haven’t come across a 3d CAD software for Linux that supports HiDPI. FreeCAD looks great but I’m not sure if they’ve fully moved over to Qt5. The compiling instructions use Qt4, but looking in one of the Cmake files I see some Qt5 information.

In order to get Solvespace with HiDPI support you must build from source. I got up and running pretty quickly. Build instructions are here. The project has a fast compile time, so don’t expect to be compiling all night.
