Some parents have recommended bringing an inflatable baby pool—you can lounge as your tot plays safely next to you—but those things are a hassle to blow up. A simpler hack is to make a pool with a cheap shower curtain. Just dig a small ditch, place the curtain on top of it, and fill it with water and toys.
