anyone else disable pulse? – Info Linux

Since pulse came out I’ve been deleting it from my systems – mainly Fedora. Anyone else?

I know that the MythTV people still recommend deleting/disabling it and it doesn’t appear by default in the Raspbian spin of MythTV that I use on my Raspberry PI.

Personally I just find that life is easier without it.

For those programs that depend on it, eg firefox, I use the excellent apulse https://github.com/i-rinat/apulse eg

I just wish the devs would understand that not everyone loves it much!
