I need help. I cannot figure out how to remove all of this iCloud data from my hard drive. I even used the store in iCloud feature but it did not help. – Info Mac

I think that’s the reason. Switch off store in iCloud. Wait until all the data is downloaded to your drive. Delete locally, which will also remove the files on iCloud. Done. You also might want to look for data stored in iCloud by other apps that isn’t visible in the Finder. Somewhere in the iCloud preferences there’s a manage storage… button.
