Leaked images claim to show iPhone X Plus & 6.1-inch LCD iPhone dummy units [Gallery] – Info Mac
As we inch closer to September’s release of new iPhone models, we continue to learn more about what Apple has in store. Today, Twitter leaker Ben Geskin has shared images of what he claims to be dummy units of the 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus and the 6.1-inch LCD models. Similar images have also emerged on Slash Leaks.

These images don’t show much that we didn’t already know about this year’s new iPhone. As you can see, the 6.1-inch model features a single rear camera, whereas the iPhone X Plus uses a dual-camera layout similar to that of the iPhone X.
Furthermore, the iPhone X Plus is said to feature a stainless steel frame, while the 6.1-inch model will feature aluminum as a cost-saving measure. As you can see here in these images, the 6.1-inch model also seems to feature slightly larger bezels than the iPhone X Plus.
These two images show the iPhone X Plus in silver and the 6.1-inch model in space gray. This year’s iPhone refresh is expected to bring a new gold color option to the iPhone X and iPhone X Plus, while the 6.1-inch LCD model is expected to be available in a slew of colors, including yellow, orange, blue, and more.
These images likely came from supply chain sources in China and are almost certainly based on leaked schematics.
Apple is expected to introduce a refreshed iPhone X alongside the iPhone X Plus and 6.1-inch model in September. The iPhone X and iPhone X Plus are said to be available in September, while the 6.1-inch model could be delayed until October or November due to manufacturing issues.
