Does the Macbook Pro 9,2 (Mid-2012) natively support booting Windows in EFI mode? – Info Mac
I’ve found conflicting information online on this. It seems that any model from 2013 definitely supports it, but I’m not sure if the Mid-2012 model does. According to this article, the Macbook Pro 9,2 should support EFI boot. Yet, when i try to install Windows 10 during Windows Setup, I get the error “Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks.” This is after following the Bootcamp setup and procedure. I’m using a USB 3 and Windows 10 Enterprise 1607 LTSB. Unfortunately I don’t have a USB 2 on hand.
