2018 MacBook Pro Storage Speeds – Info Mac

Hey all – I know everyone has been focused on thermal throttling with the new MBP lately, but I think Apple definitely deserves some credit for their impressive SSD performance. As far as I can tell, Apple is using the T2 chip to effectively set up two SSDs in a RAID 0 configuration to provide amazing performance and larger storage volumes. I don’t think there are any other laptop manufactures that are selling laptops with a configuration like this.
