Mac’s Fan Control/Best Sensor & Temp Range? – Info Mac

Using Mac’s Fan Control to keep a 2018 13 inch from staying blazing hot on the bottom. For now, I’ve tied the fans RPM to a temp range using the CPU proximity sensor.

It’s working well, but was curious if there was a ‘recommended’ sensor and temp range to use. I wish Apple would do this. I can not even hear the fans and for the workload, this machine stays cool with both of them running around 1200 RPM’s.

I was tired of the bottom getting so crazy hot, because Apple literally leaves the fans at 0 as long as possible.
