Happy Birthday OpenStack! | New OpenStack Training
Happy 8th Birthday OpenStack!
OpenStack’s anniversary is celebrated throughout the month of July but is officially recognized on July 19th. We’re proud to be a Foundation sponsor of OpenStack and offer OpenStack training. We joined in on the 8th birthday celebration with cakes and cupcakes, and a feature on our live show where we announced our newest OpenStack training course, Certified OpenStack Administrator (COA) The OpenStack Foundation.
What is OpenStack?
OpenStack, a free open source cloud computing platform, began in 2010 as a joint project of Rackspace and NASA and is now managed by the OpenStack Foundation. Driven by its open and supportive community, OpenStack has become one of the most successful, fastest-growing open source projects in the world. By supporting everything from Database management (Trove) to DNS (Designate) to containers (Magnum), and more, OpenStack is used in production for both public and private cloud infrastructure in industries ranging from retail to government and defense.
